Annie Mist Thorisdottir hails from Iceland's Reykjavik. She also trains and coaches at Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is also co-owner. Annie is the first female who is a winner at CrossFit Games in two consecutive years. Annie was second at the 2010, and 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir is a Icelanders CrossFit athlete weightlifter and media-star. The popular athlete is the first woman to win the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 and 2012. She is also known for being the winner of the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie was brought up through her mother and father living in Reykjavik Iceland. At a very early time, she was a huge sports enthusiast and was a fan of working out. She won many medals in school competitions. In 2009, she participated in the CrossFit games at California where she performed relatively well in initial games. Annie Thorisdottir was 31, (by the year 2021). She's 5'7 tall, and weighs around 67 kilograms. Annie was the first to start CrossFit when she was in California. She performed well during the first few competitions. Annie was ranked among top 10 of over 70. Even though she wasn't able to win any of the titles, she finished with the 11th spot. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Coach Jami Tikannen coached her to the second position in the CrossFit Games, and a medal in the silver category that year. It was in her second year of competition that she took part again in CrossFit Games. Due to her incredible performance she became the very first female athlete to win CrossFit Games. Annie became the very first woman to ever win successive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to the extraordinary performance. Silver medals were awarded in the year 2014 and then in the year 2021 she received a Bronze medal at CrossFit Games. Annie has been coaching and training at Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was started by Annie. Annie became a celebrity athlete following her fame. She has worked with many sports brands like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Revolution Periodization Nuun Hydrolysis Sidekick Yerbae and many more.
